An explosive six-piece line-up with strong roots in the Western Highlands and Islands, Trail West have evolved from their modest beginnings as a four-piece West Coast Ceilidh Band into one of Scotland's most formidable live acts.
Over sixteen years, they have released five studio albums, drawing on a diverse range of influences while remaining firmly rooted in the traditional music and culture of the West Coast. It is on stage, however, that Trail West and their audience truly shine.
Their reputation as an electrifying live act has seen them play multiple sold-out shows at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom as well as performances at the OVO Hydro, Scotland's largest indoor arena. In 2023, Trail West were awarded Live Act of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards.
In August 2026, the second edition of Trail West Fest took place at SWG3 in Glasgow, welcoming more than 3000 people for a full day celebrating West Coast and Gaelic culture. The festival built on the success of the band’s 15th Anniversary celebrations and the inaugural Trail West Fest in 2025, establishing the event as a major celebration of the music, culture and community that have shaped Trail West.

All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be issued except in the case of cancellation or rescheduling of the event. If the event is cancelled, a full refund of the ticket price (excluding any fees or charges) will be automatically issued to the original purchaser's payment method within 30 days of the cancellation announcement. If the event is rescheduled, ticket holders will be given the option to attend the rescheduled event or request a refund and will have 30 days from the announcement of a reschedule to do so, no further refunds will be granted beyond this point. If a refund is requested for a rescheduled event, it will be issued within 30 days of the refund request.
Please note that refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser of the tickets and proof of purchase may be required. Lost or stolen tickets will not be refunded. In the event of a cancelled or rescheduled event, we will make every effort to notify ticket holders as soon as possible via email, phone or other means of communication.
